I suppose I’m lucky enough to work in a pretty nice part of Toronto. I’m actually smack dab in the middle of the entertainment district, which has a constant barrage of Broadway-calibre shows, and plays host to more tourists than just about anywhere else in the country. The thing I like most about the neighbourhood, is that for two weeks every fall, it becomes the hub of the movie industry during the annual Toronto International Film Festival.
The other thing I like about working where I do, is that despite the panic-inducing crowds, I can still find a lot of peace and quiet while strolling around the two biggest tourists traps that this part of Canada has to offer, the CN Tower, and Rogers Centre.
Perhaps I’ll take a stroll around these two behemoths with my camera when the weather lets up a little and show you some of the less common views of these two monsters, but for now, I’ll leave you with these two images I took in 2013.
Sounds like you’re very close to me. I also work steps away from the entertainment district. 🙂
Oh wow, that’s pretty neat. I wonder if we ever pass by each other on the street. Perhaps we should arrange a meeting sometime this spring when the weather is a little nicer.
