Scatter Crossing

Scatter! Perhaps that is a metaphor for those of us living in Toronto. We charge, we rush, we scatter!

The scatter crossing is a relatively new addition to the city, and it has been implemented on our busiest intersection in the city. It’s the intersection where Dundas Square sits. It’s full of lights and billboards, and I think of it as our miniature Time Square.

This image doesn’t show this place at its busiest, but you’re sure to find some sort of character or happening at this spot. Actually, I ran into a woman with my bike last fall. She thought the crossing was set to scatter, so she walked right out in front of me. Luckily, I was just starting to go, so I didn’t clip her too hard.

Tales from the road 🙂
