My Guest Post for WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge

Today I am the guest blogger for the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge. My topic, Split-Second Story.

HI all, I am extremely excited to announce the I am the author of this week’s photo challenge. If you don’t normally participate, would absolutely love if you’d do it just this once πŸ˜‰ You can see the post by clicking here, or on the link below.

I hope you all have a fantastically wonderful weekend, and I’ll be sure to check out all of the incredible entries, when I need a break from unpacking.

  1. Oh my gosh Shane! Wow! So excited for you! Every Friday around 12:30 pm est, I am usually awaiting the photo challenge theme with anticipation but today I have been so busy that I even forgot it was Friday! Congratulations for being recognized for your gift of photography. Have a great weekend!

    1. Hey Mar,

That’s so funny. The one time that the ohoto challenge matters most, you happen to forget it’s Friday… ha, juat kidding.

Well, hopefully you’ll have time to participate this week.

    1. Hi Katie, thanks so much. It was a real shock to get the email from them, but I had a lot of fun coming up with the challenge and working with Krista.

      Glad you like the challenge.

    1. Hey Kat, so great to hear from you, and thanks! I really do feel so honoured to have been a part of this process.

Again, it’s too bad we weren’t able to connect before I left, but hopefully we’ll have a chance to meet in person sometime soon.

  2. WOW. Congratulations! What a great way to kick off the weekend.
Now I am going to have to pay extra close attention this weekend to find my entry. Exciting!!

      1. yes, yes it could! I have just the idea too πŸ™‚ It is such a scene at the local cafe…Sunday morning I know just where I will be. πŸ™‚

  3. Congratulations to you, Shane! So thrilled for you. And, now, having first found you when I read your post about the pros and cons of street photography, your challenge is going to help push me into trying it. Can’t guarantee success, but it will definitely be an adventure πŸ™‚

  4. Congratulations Shane, for being chosen as a star guest on the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge. It’s a great achievement and testament to your skills as a photographer and your willingness to help and support others.

A brilliant choice of topic too!

  5. I used to go buy records all the time. I loved 45’s singles. Then CD’s came out and you pretty much had to buy the whole album and they did away with records. I like to buy just single songs online. I don’t buy at record stores anymore, or even department stores. I loved records but they did scratch and take up a lot of room. They sounded the best though.

    1. Hi Connie,

Thanks for sharing those great memories. Are you from the UK? Singles weren’t a huge thing over here. I spent a lot of my time making mix takes and it’s too bad my kids won’t have that experience.

Thanks again for stopping by πŸ™‚
